MAC Red Dual Meet Season Starts!

Bulldog Wrestlers Keep Improving!

On Saturday, January 14 the Varsity A team wrestled in the Clarkston Duals.  There were some quality teams there and some great individual matches all day!  Romeo started the day against Lake Fenton who is always tough and came out on top.  The second match was against 9th ranked Clarkston.  Romeo got in an early hole and was not able to climb out.  After the tough loss, the Bulldogs face the 6th ranked Bedford Kicking Mules.  Romeo stepped up and wrestled a great match.  In the last round the Bulldogs finishe the day on a high note beating Grandville.  The Bulldogs improved to 16-4 overall and 1-0 in the MAC Red.

On Wednesday, January 11 the Varsity and JV wrestlers traveled to Anchor Bay for the first MAC Red dual of the season.  Anchor Bay has been one of the top wrestling programs in Macomb County for many years, but, the Bulldogs were up to the task.  

The Varsity B team also had a great day at the Chippewa Valley Duals.  The team placed 4th overall.  Here are the team scores:
